an organic, evolving line, EACH Lehtela Guitar Craft
instrument is not only carefully scrutinized by the owner
but also by its maker, Ari Lehtela. Careful documentation
of timbral qualities and other specs are noted by the maker,
yielding information towards the making of yet an even better
instrument. Thus, prices for certain instruments can be subject
to change without notice. It should be noted that the cost
of a custom ordered instrument DOES NOT CHANGE even though
the specified models price may go up. As an example, an original
quoted price of $3,095 remains in effect for up to 3 years even
if the instruments actual price has changed, up or down.
The only exceptions to this would be upgrades and other changes
in the specifications from the original.

Procedure
1)
contact Ari Lehtela by email or phone to discuss the project
2)
once the specifications of the instrument are established a deposit
will be required to secure a position on the waiting list.
3)
actual delivery period will be 2~4 months from actual beginning
date.
4)
during the construction phase, the luthier will stay in touch
with the customer regarding the project. Also, at no extra charge,
the customer may request a 'photo booklet' documenting various
stages of the actual construction.
5)
method of shipment, if necessary, will be finalized near delivery
time as well the final payment of the instrument.
